Privacy Policy

Microphone Access

The app asks for access to your device's microphone only to hear your ukulele and show how in tune each string is. Sound is analyzed on your device in real time. It is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.

You can turn microphone access off at any time in your device's settings. The tuner cannot work without it, but nothing else changes.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app has no accounts or sign-in, and we do not collect your name, email address, location, or contacts.

The app saves two preferences on your device only: the tuning you chose (high-G or low-G) and whether you use the light or dark theme. These never leave your device and are removed if you delete the app.

Advertising

The app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage information to show ads and measure their performance. In the EU, UK and other regions where it is required, you will be asked for consent first. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether ads may be personalized. You can decline both and still use every feature of the app.

See Google's Privacy Policy for details: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Children's Privacy

My Pocket Ukulele Tuner is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us at dev@buggasoftware.com and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
