Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This privacy policy applies to the MyTags app ("the app") for iOS and Android, made by Bugga Software Ltd. ("we", "our", or "us"). It explains what information the app uses and why.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. The app has no accounts or sign-in, and we do not collect your name, email address, location, or contacts. We have no servers that receive your data.
Your Saved Videos
Everything you save in MyTags stays on your device: the links of the videos you save, their titles, channel names and thumbnail addresses, your tags and subtags, and any notes you write. The app also remembers whether you use the light or dark theme. None of this is sent to us.
Your device's own backup service, such as iCloud Backup or Google's Android backup, may include this data, depending on your device settings. Those backups are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
You can delete your library at any time with Reset all data in the app's Settings. Deleting the app also removes it.
YouTube
MyTags works with YouTube videos you choose to save. When you save a video, the app asks YouTube for its title, channel name and thumbnail. Thumbnails are loaded from YouTube, and videos play through YouTube's embedded player. YouTube receives these requests, including your device's IP address, and handles them under Google's Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
MyTags is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC.
Advertising
The app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage information to show ads and measure their performance. In the EU, UK and other regions where it is required, you will be asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time with Privacy choices in the app's Settings. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether ads may use your device's advertising identifier; if you decline, it is not shared. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. You can decline any of these and still use every feature of the app.
See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Children's Privacy
MyTags is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, so we hold no personal data that could be reviewed or deleted. Advertising data is handled by Google; see Google's Privacy Policy for how to manage it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
